The film "UnHushed" was made out of the desire to reveal to the world the story of Slavery & Plantations in Camden, NJ. On July 23rd, 2005 this film was shot.

It focuses on the Plantation House - Pomona Hall which was the big house on a 400 + acre Plantation in the 1700's in my home town of Camden, NJ in the section of the city now called Parkside.

A Purification Ceremony was performed to free the spirits of the 14 enslaved Africans who lived on the 3rd floor in the Attic.

This was the first time their names were called and their lives were recognized by their Sisters and Brothers living in a future time period. US

Unhushed was first screened at the World Premiere on 2-2-06 in Phila, Pa. at the International House.

March 10th, 2007 was selected to screen at The Harlem Stage Film Festival, NY City.

April 15th, 2007 was selected to show at the Philadelphia International Film Festival.

UnHushed has been also viewed on PBS several times, through the Precious Places Project.
